சங்கீதம் 130:1-8

நீ ஆழங்களிலிருந்து கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறாய்.

ஆண்டவர், உன் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்பார், உன் விண்ணப்பங்களின் சத்தத்திற்கு அவரது செவிகள் கவனித்திருக்கும்.

கர்த்தர் அக்கிரமங்களைக் கவனித்திருப்பாரானால், யார் நிலைநிற்பான்,

கர்த்தருக்கு பயப்படும்படிக்கு கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மன்னிப்பு உண்டு.

கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திரு, உன் ஆத்துமா காத்திருக்கிறது, அவருடைய வார்த்தையை நம்பியிருப்பாயாக.

எப்பொழுது விடியும் என்று விடியற்காலத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற ஜாமக்காரரைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய் உன் ஆத்துமா ஆண்டவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறது.

இஸ்ரவேல் கர்த்தரை நம்பியிருப்பதாக, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் கிருபையும், அவரிடத்தில் திரளான மீட்பும் உண்டு.

அவர் இஸ்ரவேலை அதின் சகல அக்கிரமங்களினின்றும் மீட்டுக்கொள்வார்.

Waiting for the Redemption of the Lord A Song of Ascents.

O Lord; Out of the depths I have cried to You; Hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning— Yes, more than those who watch for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He shall redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
