சங்கீதம் 10:1-7,15-18

கர்த்தர், உன் பக்கத்தில் நிற்கிறார் ஆபத்து நேரிடுகிற சமயங்களில் அவர்  மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார்.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் பெருமையினால் சிறுமைப்பட்டவனைக் கடூரமாய்த் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறான், அவன் நினைத்த சதிமோசங்களில் அவனே அகப்படுவான்.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் உள்ளம் இச்சித்ததைப் பெற்றதினால் பெருமை பாராட்டி, பொருளை அபகரித்துத் தன்னைத்தான் போற்றி, கர்த்தரை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறான்.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் கர்வத்தினால் தேவனைத் தேடான், அவன் நினைவுகளெல்லாம் தேவன் இல்லையென்பதே.

அவன் வழிகள் எப்போதும் கேடுள்ளவைகள், கர்த்தருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அவன் பார்வைக்கு எட்டாமல் மிகவும் உயரமாயிருக்கிறது, தன் எதிராளிகளெல்லார்மேலும் சீறுகிறான்.

நான் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை, தலைமுறை தலைமுறைதோறும் தீங்கு என்னை அணுகுவதில்லை என்று துன்மார்க்கன் தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.

அவன் வாய் சபிப்பினாலும் கபடத்தினாலும் கொடுமையினாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது, அவன் நாவின்கீழ் தீவினையும் அக்கிரமமும் உண்டு.

கர்த்தர் துன்மார்க்கனும் பொல்லாதவனு மாயிருக்கிறவனுடைய புயத்தை முறித்து விடுவார், அவனுடைய ஆகாமியம் காணாமற்போகுமட்டும் அதைத் தேடி விசாரிப்பார்.

கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களுக்கும் ராஜாவாயிருக்கிறார், புறஜாதியார் அவருடைய தேசத்திலிருந்து அழிந்து போவார்கள்.

கர்த்தர், சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய வேண்டுதலைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறார், அவர்கள் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார்.

தேவன் மண்ணான மனுஷன் இனிப் பலவந்தஞ்செய்யத் தொடராதபடிக்கு, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் நீதிசெய்ய அவருடைய செவிகளைச் சாய்த்துக் கேட்டருளுவார்.

  A Song of Confidence in God’s Triumph over Evil Why do You stand afar off,

O Lord? Why do You hide in times of trouble? The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised. For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire; He blesses the greedy and renounces the Lord. The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts. His ways are always prospering; Your judgments are far above, out of his sight; As for all his enemies, he sneers at them. He has said in his heart, “I shall not be moved; I shall never be in adversity.” His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression; Under his tongue is trouble and iniquity

  Lofd break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; Seek out his wickedness until You find none. The Lord is King forever and ever; The nations have perished out of His land. Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more.
