சங்கீதம் 18:10-20

கர்த்தர் இருளைத் தமக்கு மறைவிடமாக்கினார், கரும்புனல்களையும், ஆகாயத்துக் கார்மேகங்களையும் தம்மைச் சூழக்கூடாரமாக்கினார்.

கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதிப் பிரகாசத்தினால் அவருடைய மேகங்கள் பறந்து விலகிற்று, கல்மழையும் நெருப்புத்தழலும் விழுந்தது.

கர்த்தர் வானங்களிலே குமுறினார், உன்னதமானவர் தமது சத்தத்தைத் தொனிக்கப்பண்ணினார், கல் மழையும் நெருப்புத்தழலும் விழுந்தது.

தம்முடைய அம்புகளை எய்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார், மின்னல்களைப் பிரயோகித்து, அவர்களைக் கலங்கப்பண்ணினார்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய கண்டிதத்தினாலும் அவருடைய நாசியின் சுவாசக்காற்றினாலும் தண்ணீர்களின் மதகுகள் திறவுண்டு, பூதலத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் காணப்பட்டது.

உயரத்திலிருந்து கர்த்தர் கைநீட்டி, உன்னைப் பிடித்து, ஜலப்பிரவாகத்திலிருக்கிற உன்னைத் தூக்கிவிட்டார்.

உன்னிலும் அதிக பலவான்களாயிருந்த உன் பலத்த சத்துருவுக்கும் உன்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் உன்னை விடுவித்தார்.

உன் ஆபத்துநாளில் உனக்கு எதிரிட்டு வந்தார்கள், கர்த்தரோ உனக்கு ஆதரவாயிருந்தார்.

அவர் விசாலமான இடத்திலே உன்னைக் கொண்டுவந்து, உன்மேல் பிரியமாயிருந்தபடியால், உன்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.

கர்த்தர் உன் நீதிக்குத்தக்கதாக உனக்குப் பதிலளித்தார், உன் கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டினார்.

  Lord made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters And thick clouds of the skies. From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered At Your rebuke, O Lord, At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils. He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me
